On Memorial Day please join us for the Reading of names starts at 5:30 am- Sunrise and continues until about 1:00 pm. The plates Iraq and Afghanistan starting from 2001 to today in order of passing first 7,000 names.. followed by Training Exercise and Humanitarian Mission plates. We gather at the wall located at Rosie The Riveter Park in Long Beach. The park is located at the corner of Clark Ave. and Conant Ave.
On Memorial Day, May 25, 2015 we “broke ground” for our Honoring Our Fallen Memorial Wall! Etched into the wall are the names of over 7,000 men and women who have died in combat since 9/11. The wall is updated this year adding the 24 servicemembers both Killed In Action and training mishaps since last years etching.
